OHET’s new collection “Hotel OHET” sets up a fictional hotel on the borders of Greece, where borders become corridors, and every guest is welcomed as human — not as foreigner, not as intruder. Here, passage is not defined by papers or status, but by the simple act of being.
The collection draws inspiration from various events that marked Greece in 2025 — the suspension of the right to asylum in Crete, the detention of thousands of people in 43 °C heat inside warships transporting them in warehouses without water and basic amenities, and at the same time, the curfews and violent repression of pro-Palestine demonstrations for the sake of a cruise ship full of Israeli tourists.
The collection explores the tension between hospitality and hostility. At OHET Hotel ‘People are over Passports’ which summarizes its central message: human life and dignity must come before papers, visas, or money.
The ‘Hotel OHET’ is not just a streetwear collection; it is an invitation to look beyond the walls of a fictional hotel and ask who truly gets to be inside and why.
